QUESTION: For flared girder bridges, how does the program calculate the distance between the center of support to the center of the next support?

ANSWER:

To calculate the distance between the supports, OBD\LBC (Conspan) considers the station numbers from the center of the abutment to the center of the abutment and does not consider the station based on the alignment. The user needs to calculate the stationing based on the center of the bridge and later, in the Layout option, input the deck offset.
