QUESTION:  Does Footing Design include the P Delta Effect?.

ANSWER:

Generally for Slender Columns Second order frame analysis which is basically the P Delta analysis is performed to design the columns. In the previous versions users were not able to transfer the P delta effect to footing. 
In V15 RC pier offers options to include P-Delta effect on column and footing as well.
User needs to go to Analysis TAB à Analysis/Design Parameters dialog box à Under Column Slenderness Tab he/she needs to check the option “Include P-delta effect for footing design.
