How to locate which is the current Active Level and how this can be changed
The Active Level is that which you are currently working on to place new elements. What are the verious methods and tools to locate what that Active Level is set to and how can this be changed to another level.
In either the Level Manager or Level Display tools you will see that the current Active Level highlights in the color green. If you double click on another level name the Active Level will change and the color will change.
You can also right click over the level you wanted to make active and a popup menu will display where you can select the option Set Active.
From the key-in dialog, type ‘active level LEVELNAME’. Change the LEVELNAME with the level name you want to use as the Active Level.
In the Attributes Ribbon you will see which Active Level is currently being used. If you click on this a pulldown box will display all of the levels within your design file. You can then select a new level to be set as the Active Level.
