Why am I getting "Unable to read analysis data" when I am trying to import STAAD file in RCDC?
It happens when there is any modelling error. Please check if the model contains any duplicate member or nodes. If you found any such merge them and try.
In some cases it has been observed that there is additional PERFORM ANALYSIS command in the file which causes this error. Please delete the extra "PERFORM ANALYSIS" command and try.
One more probable cause will be the element used in the model. A STAAD model can be read in RCDC if there is some beam, column or walls modelled in it. The walls need to be modelled using parametric surface only. In some cases it has been seen that the model consists of only plate elements no parametric mesh) and those models can not be read by RCDC.
