Problem

I try to install the driver and receive an error that "wintab.exe is not registered" and to contact Bentley support at wintab@bentley.com.  This email is returned as un-deliverable.

Solution

1. Right click on the wintab.exe and go to "Properties"

2. Click Properties and then select the "Compatibility" tab

3. Under Privilege Level, select Run this program as an administrator and then click ok

4. Do the same procedure for the "ustation.exe"

This setting has to do with Windows controls and not Bentley related applications.
