Background

Using smart lines and Accudraw, we create camera paths and focus points that dictate the camera movements as we fly through our model.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. Open your 3D model
  2. Select Place Smart line
  3. Press F11 to activate Accudraw
  4. Snap in a point and press key O to indicate that this is the origin in the Accudraw compass
  5. Press E to change Accudraw direction
  6. Draw the line or patch to follow
  7. Using element information change from general tab the line class  from primary to construction so the line is hidden during animation
  8. Use Utilities menu\Render\Fly though camera settings
  9. Set the number of frame  (frame=Number of cameras placed in different points)
  10. Fly though producer\Tool\define a patch-> Identify Element at  path beginning and identify ending of the path
  11. Define a target point
  12. Tools\preliminary view \view
  13. Once everything seems to be ok you can create a video
  14. Utilities menu\Render\Fly though
  15. Tool\Record\select directory to save video-> Select type of sequence of recording ( example AVI) ->ok
