In AutoCAD, I'm used to working with my crosshairs completely covering the monitor screen. This enables me to quickly and easily see if entities line up in the drawing without the distraction of having the grid on. Is there some way to make the crosshairs appear like this in MicroStation? Right now, my crosshairs appear like a small "cross". I'd like this cross to completely fill the screen.
You can do this by going to the Workspace > Preferences > Input. Once there you can change the Pointer Size to Full View which will give you the crosshairs covering the screen.
You can do this by going to the File > Settings > User > Preferences > Input. Once there you can change the Pointer Size to Full View which will give you the crosshairs covering the screen.
Alternatively use the following keyin's which could be placed behind a function key.
set cursor full
set cursor small
set cursor toggle ( to toggle between the above )
It is possible to change the size of circle at the arrow/pointer changing the Locate Tolerance value from Input tab.
Go to File->Settings->Preferences->Input-> Locate Tolerance: This is normally set to 10, but can be increased according to the visualisation requirements.
