How to set the view background color from white to black and vice versa in MicroStation CONNECT Edition?
Toggling "Black Background -> White" option in File>Settings>User>Preferences>View Options will set the view window background color to either white or black for Design Models only.
This setting will only have an effect if the background color specified in the attached color table is set to black (RGB=0,0,0).
Another way to change the view background to black:
1. Go to File>Settings>User>Preferences>View Options category> Toggle ON "Design Background" and then set the color to black (RGB=0,0,0)
This can also be done for Drawing and Sheet models.
2. Press OK, then OK again, and then click the back arrow in the upper left corner to go back to the MicroStation interface.
Do a "Save Settings" or press shortcut "CTRL+f"
3. In the desired View(s), go to the View Attributes (or Ctrl B) and change Display Style to "Wireframe"
4. Do a "Save Settings" or press shortcut "CTRL+f"
