Where to locate the file properties

Background

The file properties can be useful to find basic information about the origins of the file such as, Author, Size, Original file format, Version of MicroStation used to edit the file, etc.    

Steps to Accomplish

In CONNECT Edition:

File > Properties

In V8i:

File > Properties

1. The General tab will show the e.g. the Version of MicroStation to last Edit the file.

        2.   The Statistics tab will show the Original format of the file e.g. V8, V7 or DWG.
