Problem

MicroStation Manager and other file open dialogs look different and more like windows dialogs.

Solution

Starting with MicroStation V8 XM Edition...
By default most of the file dialogs are using a "Windows" style dialog.

This can be disabled in the Preferences:
1. From Menubar, go to Workspace > Preferences [Preferences dialog opens]
2. Go to the "Look and Feel" category.
3. Disable "Use Windows File Open Dialogs".

Note: While using Windows open dialog, it is possible to temporary switch the MicroStation style dialogs, by holding SHIFT and pressing ESC.
