Steps to Accomplish

1. The “Color” setting in the Print dialog can be set to True Color, Grayscale or Monochrome. This setting is for vector data and raster data as well.

 

2. In the printer driver file (.pltcfg) the “Default Color Mode” setting (this setting is under Base Properties tab – General section) can be set to True Color, Grayscale or Monochrome. This setting will have the same effect as setting the Color setting in the Print dialog.

3. You will also need to make sure the “Apply print color mode to raster” is selected in Print Attributes (Settings – Print Attributes) in the Print dialog.
