Scope

• Create your own/custom AI-models to detect assets on reality data (images or point clouds)
• Leverage your AI-models in dedicated iTwin Capture Cloud service or desktop solutions (ITCapture Manage & Extract or ITCapture Modeler) 

Success criteria

To make this program a success some pre-requisites are to be considered:

• You have an existing workflow relying on reality data you want to automate/accelerate and are able to clearly describe it.
• You have a workflow that you envisage but can't execute but expects AI to enable it and are able to clearly describe it.
• You own reality data and are ready to share it on Bentley Systems Cloud Service (this data will only be shared with Bentley and not used for other purpose).
• You have a clear list of classes to detect and are ready to:
  • Share time and experience with Bentley Systems to detail this list.
  • Spend time on labeling reality data to serve AI-model training.

Requirements

These are the elements that are mandatory to share with Bentley to apply to the program

• Reality data consistent with the workflow you are targeting:
  • 1 point cloud or imagery set to serve labeling and training
  • 1 point cloud or imagery set to evaluate the AI-model after training
    
    
• Reality data annotations.
  These annotations:
  • Already exist: Reality data is already labeled and you will share it along with the reality data.
  • Will be created by you: you are an existing iTwin Capture Manage & Extract user and We'll guide you to label reality data consistently.
  • Will be created by Bentley Systems: you are not a user of iTwin Capture Manage & Extract user yet. Bentley will label 1 single class in a limited reality data sample of yours for sake of proof of concept.
    If interested to extend to more, you'll subscribe to iTwin Capture Manage & Extract and we'll guide you to label data consistently.

Deliverables

• An initial AI-model (detector) executable in ITwin Capture cloud service and associated software (iTwin Capture Manage & Extract or iTwin Capture Modeler) 
• A web-based environment to review reality data you shared and associated classified elements. 
• A description of the end-to-end workflow (from raw reality data to classified and actionable data) to extend this initial program to production level.

The entire program lasts about 30 days and the step-by-step approach differs a bit whether you are already an iTwin Capture Manage & Extract user or not

Associated costs

As part of an early adopter program and until 2024 June 30th, custom detector training is not charged.
All costs are covered by Bentley until this date.

Past this period and for training job occurring after this date, users will be charged depending on the amount of data required for training and will be informed about it.

For non-iTwin Capture Manage & Extract users who would like to extend their training job, a license or subscription to iTwin Capture Manage & Extract software will be required.
