Background

Project API Builder generates or modifies projects based on instructions in the spreadsheet specified on the Run Project Builder dialog. The tool can create pages, insert macros, symbols, and wires, and modify text.

To start the Project API Builder tool

For Bentley Substation CONNECT Edition

• Select Output ribbon tab > Automation Tools group > Project API Builder
• Function key shortcut: F2 > O > AW
  • If the Output ribbon tab is already the active tab: F3 > AW

• From the Tasks or ribbon area, select Output > *Automation Tools > Project API Builder
• Key-in: ECAD EXEC PROJECTAPIBUILDER
• Key-in for promis.e for AutoCAD: ECAD_EXEC_PROJECTAPIBUILDER
