Overview

Bentley’s Integrated Structural Modeling (ISM) is a technology for sharing structural engineering project information among structural modeling, analysis, design, drafting, and detailing applications. ISM is similar to Building Information Modeling (BIM), but focuses on the information that is important in the design, construction, and modification of the load bearing components of buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Interoperability Workflow between STAAD Pro and ProStructures

Part-1: Interoperability Workflow between STAAD Pro and ProStructures (Part 1)

This video is the 1st part of the Interoperability Workflow series between STAAD Pro and ProStructures. It will be explaining how to create an Integrated Structural Modelling (ISM) repository of your analysis model from within STAAD Pro and then import this ISM into ProStructures. You can then carry forward the same analysis model for modelling and detailing to reduce the time taken for re-modelling and avoid data duplication.

Part-2: Interoperability Workflow between STAAD Pro and ProStructures (Part 2)

This video is the 2nd part of the Interoperability Workflow series between STAAD Pro and ProStructures. It will be explaining the process of exporting the same model that was used in Part 1, containing updated information from ProStructures, by simply updating the same Integrated Structural Modelling (ISM) repository. This workflow eliminates the time taken for remodeling and also avoids data duplication.
