 Product(s):Promis.e CONNECT Edition
 Version(s): 10.00.XX.XX to 10.10.XX.XX
 Environment: NA
 Area: Component Management
 Subarea:Parts Database

Background:

The user might sometimes need custom columns in Parts Database for which they usually use the User1 to User10 fields in the database. In this article we will see how these custom column fields can be added to the Parts Database Manager dialog.

Steps to Accomplish

1. From the Ribbon bar select Manage >> Parts Database under Catalogs. In the Parts Database Manager dialog click on Customize Layout from option.

2. In the Customization Dialog select Layout Tree View. Then scroll down to Unmapped fields where the mapped Custom Mapped Variables can be seen.

3. Next select the variables that need to be placed in the Parts Database Manager by Drag and Drop method as illustrated in below image 1. If the Field needs to be added to Sub-dialog then while dragging the field hover over the Sub dialog and then place it in the position as required as seen in image 2.
