In this wiki article we will see how to create a new Bidirectional Flow_Arrow. Our requirement is to show Bi_directional Flow in different colors on both side & Different then default Flow arrow.
Launch OpenPlant PID.
Open/Create a file, lets say Bi_Direc Flow Arrow.dgn in ISO Project.
Create Flow Arrow Symbol by using Microstation tools as shown in below images.
Place Fence around Flow arrow Symbol from Task Bar.
Now, define Origin of Cell. Tools > Cells > Define Origin as shown below.
To Create Cell. Element > Cells > Create.
Fill Create Cell details as shown below.
Now, by using component Manager create Flow Arrow Component. Tools > Managers > Component Manager > Select Create Component from Cell.
Component Manger Dialog will opens, Select 'Create Component from Cell'.
In Build New Component Dialog fill all data as shown below & hit Next.
After hitting Finish button, Customize dialog will get opens. Drag Bi_Directional from Left Panel to Right Panel under Pipe Services Hierarchy as shown below.
Close OpenPlant PID file.
Note: It is important to close Dgn file for launching Class Editor.
Launch Class Editor.
Open OpenPlant_PID.01.07.ecschema.
Note: If it is asking for missing reference schema.
Right click on OpenPlant PID Schema and Supplement with OpenPlant_PID_Supplemental_ISO.01.07.ecschema.
To Verify Class Bi_Directional Class, navigate as in below hierarchy.
Switch to Pipe Run class & fill data as highlighted on below image.
Save all settings & Close Class Editor.
Launch OpenPlant PID.
Open the same file Bi-Direc Flow Arrow.dgn.
