AutoPLANT Modeler - OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

Problem Description

Using AutoPLANT Modeler & OpenPlant Isometrics Manager user is getting error as "Scaler, Symbols or item codes are missing for TAP_CONNECTION" while generating isometrics as shown below.

Scaler, Symbols or Item code are missing for TAP_CONNECTION error message when branch connected through Stub-In tap port. 


Steps to Resolve

  1. Open Class Editor and go to File>Open navigate to project path.

  2. Open ‘OpenPlant_3D.01.04.ecschema.xml’ & supplement it with "OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Isometrics_Isoextractor.01.04.ecschema.xml" Schema.

  3. Search TAP_CONNECTION class.

  4. Change the value in “Item Code” from this.COMPONENT_NAME to “TAG”

    Note - Add the string quotes " " around TAG as "TAG".

  5. Save & close schema.

  6. Restart document manager generate isometric to verify result.

OpenPlant Modeler - OpenPlant Isometrics Manager

Problem Description

Using OpenPlant Modeler & OpenPlant Isometrics Manager user is getting error as "Scaler, Symbols or item codes are missing for PIPE" while generating isometrics as shown below. This issue arises when important field or property is missing in OpenPlant Modeler & OpenPlant Isometrics Manager is unable to find that missing property. Adding that missing property will solve the issue.



From Production Log, inspect the error message as shown below.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Using Bentley Class Editor, open OpenPlant_3D.01.04.ecschema.
  2. Supplement above schema with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.04.ecschema and OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_ModelingViews.01.04.ecschema.

  3. Navigate to Plant Base Object class, switch to Properties tab. 
  4. Click on Add > New to add a new property as shown below.



  5. Enter details for Material property as shown below.



  6. Right click on newly created MATERIAL property & select Custom Attribute > Add/Remove to add custom attribute as shown below



  7. Search for OpenPlant_Physical_Catalogue_Property_Map custom attribute, using drop down arrow add this custom attribute & change schema location to OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.04 as shown below.

     

  8. Enter details as shown below.



  9. Save all the changes & verify the results as shown below.
