Environment: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64 bit)

Original Author:Deepak Singh, Bentley Product Advantage Group

Problem Description

I-model doesn’t load in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. Progress bar in below dialog doesn't move further beyond this point and the process goes into loop.

Reason

User has created a new associated item for pipeline as “Lines Number” refer image below.

Also, "Associated Item Relationship" custom attribute for this item is defined in supplemental schema as shown below.

NOTE: The schema location for this custom attribute (Associated Item Relationship) must be in OpenPlant_3D.01.07 schema. Similarly check other classes like ASSOCIATED_ITEM_LIST_FOR_EQUIPMENT, ASSOCIATED_ITEM_LIST_FOR_HVAC_NETWORK_SYSTEM etc. and make sure that the above mentioned custom attribute is placed in primary schema only which is OpenPlant_3D.

Steps to Resolve

  1. Using Bentley Class Editor, open OpenPlant_3D.01.07 of your project.

  2. Supplement above schema with OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.07 & OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_ModelingViews.01.07 schema.

For More information on supplementing schema click here>>>>

  3. Also supplement custom schema OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_AFW_Custom_Attributes.01.00 in which "Associated Item Relationship" custom attribute is placed.

  4. Supplemented schema list for OpenPlant_3D.01.07 are as shown below.

  5. Navigate to ASSOCIATED_ITEM_LIST_FOR_PIPING_NETWORK_SYSTEM class, switch to properties tab as shown below.

  6. Select newly associated item, here “LINENO” & scroll down to Associated Item Relationship custom attributes. Notice that schema location defined for this property is not in OpenPlant_3D as shown.

  7. Click on LINENO & select Custom Attributes > Add/Remove as shown below.

  8. Change schema location to OpenPlant_3D.01.07 as shown below.

  9. Save all the changes.

  10. Publish i-model again & load it in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager to verify the result.
