Background

In OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition, user wants to show continuation of the pipeline coming from another dgn by attaching dgn as reference attachment . In this exercise we shall see these steps with simple arrangement.

Steps to Accomplish

1. Launch OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition and create a pipeline with simple arrangement as shown in below image.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Once the arrangement is done, click on Manage button under Piping network which will open Pipeline Manager, select AutoGenerate Iso-Sheets. Image below.
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Once iso sheets are generated, close the dialog and Click on File > Save settings to save the work in this file.
   
   
4. Click File > New to create NEW FILE with desired name, once the blank file is created, from the Primary Tab click references and select the file created on first step as reference.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
5. Start creating pipeline from flange end or from pipe end. Here, we have taken flange end. Image Below Highlighted
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. Now click on Manage Pipeline and select the pipeline and click Auto-Generate iso sheets and then Generate iso and verify results and notice that it shows continuation from reference file.
