To Fix ISM ECSCHEMA Issue while Launching the Dgn in Open Modeler Connect Edition

Problem Description

Many user has raised the issues of dialog popped up showing  “ISM ECSCHEMA FULLNAME = IntegratedStructuralModel” does not exist, while opening the the dgn in OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition Update 8.


Reason

       This issue is raised when any workset of previous version e.g Update 7 (10.07.00.32) is launched in latest  Update 8(10.08.00.51 )of OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition

       

        As highlighted in yellow  above the schema IntegratedStructuralModel has the version change i.e for Update 8 its IntegratedStructuralModel.07.00.ecschema  while for Update 7 its                    IntegratedStructuralModel.06.00.ecschema.And same version difference inside the respective schemas a shown below .
         
       
       
      -Schema location
       This IntegratedStructuralModel.07.00.ecschema .xml can be located in below Std workspace path:
       C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Workspaces\WorkSpace\Standards\OpenPlant\Schemas
   

Solution:

       Copy the IntegratedStructuralModel.07.00.ecschema .xml  from the standard path shown above from default Workspace level schemas and paste into current Workspace level schemas through which when launching file dgn raises issue.

      

Result:

      Relaunch the same dgn in Openplant Modeler CE Update 8 again and view the result as the issue getting  be resolved and the issue is not popped up again
      Also there would be other issues might be seen in message center  since the workset has not been upgraded from Update 7 to Update8.

     

     Make sure after launching the dgn with Update 7 project in Openplant Modeler update 8 your related issue is not displayed in Message center.
