Background

 
Bentley Raceway and Cable Management (BRCM) provides an enhanced feature to show the cable drum number in the cable pull cards.
Cable Pull Cards Report can be generated displaying the Cable Drum Number and other detailed information.
Cable Pull Card provides the detailed information regarding the cables which include the Project Name , From and To device locations , Length , Cable Types , Cable Size, Cable Laying Method and the Raceway Route.
 

Steps To Accomplish-

1. Launch the application and open Routing DGN file.
Note: Open an already routed DGN file. For detailed steps to perform automatic routing refer to this link.



2. In Equipment & Cable tab , open the Cable Manager.



3..In the cable manager, select all the cables using the checkbox at the topmost row.



4. From the Output ribbon group in the ribbon menu, Click on Cable Reports and select Cable Pull Cards.



5.The Status Manager dialog opens displaying the status of all the cables. Click Ok.

6.A dialog box to save the cable pull card report will be displayed. Click on Save to save the cable pull card as XLS file.



7.The Excel (XLS) file of the cable pull card report will be generated and it will show the Cable Drum Number.
