Problem Description:
After placing dimensions, the extension lines do not align correctly to the objects being dimensioned.
Steps to Resolve:
- After clicking the Dimension Element or Dimension Linear command, a tool setting dialog box will pop up.
- Hoover to the "Alignment" dropdown list, note that the issue is happening whenever the "View" option is used. But the extension lines will be exactly snapped at objects when you use either "Drawing"; "True"; or "Arbitrary".
