Work with iModel Named Versions

Every change on the timeline creates a new version of the iModel. However, some versions could be more important than others, for example represent milestones or significant events to be saved or reviewed. Giving a unique name (a.k.a. creating a Named Version) allows version to be easier to recognize and access.

Named versions can also be viewed in web browser using iTwin Design Review application.

Creating a named version

Follow these steps to create a named version:

  1. Go to iModel Changes Tab
  2. Find the last required change in the timeline
