Need to suspend V8's AccuSnap for a moment? Or need AccuSnap when it is not active for the particular function - e.g. to snap a fence to particular points?
Hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys while you surf your file.

If you have AccuDraw on, you can press HU to suspend.
And, if you need to toggle AccuSnap quickly, then press J in MicroStation V8 or HS in MicroStation V8 XM and later.
