Problem

Legacy Modeler cannot be launched from SACS Executive. I'm using SACS 15.1. What should I do?

 

Solution

We are no longer maintaining the Legacy modeler since v14.3 and it is deprecated. The issue here was caused by missing files in the installation folder. This happens to all versions after v14.3. You can follow the steps below as the workaround if you still want to use the tool:

#To use Legacy modeler in SACS 15.1: copy precedelegacy.bmp and precedelegacy.exe from older version i.e SACS 14.3 and paste it in the SACS 15.1 installation folder.

#To use Legacy modeler in SACS 16.0: copy edisacs.dll, precedelegacy.bmp and precedelegacy.exe from older version i.e SACS 14.3 and paste it in the SACS 16.0 installation folder.

 

Notes: We have completely removed this tool in SACS 2023.
