Error or Warning Message

When running an analysis, multiple errors of the following form appear:

Writing Output File: Access to \sxxx. was denied.

Explanation

A known issue with SACS 5.6.2 causes this error. SACS 5.7 addresses it. The following workaround can be used in SACS 5.6.2.

How to Avoid

1. From the SACS Executive, click the SACS Settings button on either the Home or Settings tab.
   
2. Select Analysis Settings on the left sidebar under the Analysis section.
3. Locate the "Move TOC To Top of Listing File" setting on the right side, and change the setting to No.
   
4. Click the OK button to save changes.
