Multiple Hydraulic Models Support
It is now possible to upload several WaterGEMS files, up to a maximum of 10 files per digital twin.
Multi-Model Upload
In the administration >> Numerical Models, the user can add several models by clicking in the add (+) button at the top. Once clicking "Add", a new row in the table will appear and the user can upload and edit the configurations of a specific model. For that, make sure to click on the row and edit the right side panel that will appear. To add a second model (or a third model) just click on the "Add" button again and a new row will be displayed related to the second model, for the user to configure.

Real-time Model Results
Each model should represent a different and boundary isolated system (for example a different town or a different distribution zone). Once the models are uploaded, those will be automatically running in parallel and real time results are displayed for all models simultaneously in the map page (after turning hydraulic model toggle on). When clicking on any element over the map, the side panel will display the information for which model the element belongs to. If at least one model is failing or with warnings, a message will be displayed on the bottom.
Operational Response Simulation
All models are automatically available for the operational response simulation. When a model element is selected (a pipe to break, or a pump to shutdown, or a valve to close or a node to insert the demand), only the model for which that element belongs to will be used for the response simulation.
Import / Upload Zones through Configuration Template
Zones are now created and updated directly through the import of the configuration template file in the Admin >> Zones or by manually creating new zones directly through the same administration page (Admin >> Zones).
WaterSight will read both the Zones Balance and Zones Characteristics tabs from the template to create and update the zones in WaterSight. A zone will be created if it is defined in the Zones Characteristics tab or in the Zones Balance tab or in both. Please note that the zone names in the Zones Characteristics and tab and Zones Balance tab need to match, otherwise WaterSight will always assume they are different zones and different zones will be created.
The creation and update of zones follows the exact same rules as the upload of all other information (sensors, smart meters, tanks, pumps, customers):
Recomputing Zones Monthly Balance
When zones are created or updated, and if any of the parameters that affects the monthly water balance calculation are changed, then those zones will be marked with a orange dot and a message will be displayed for the user to recompute the monthly water balances. To recompute the monthly water balances click on the (...) button and press recompute all or select the zones for which you want to trigger the monthly water balance calculation.
Only after the zones are created in WaterSight it is possible to upload the zone shapefiles. The zone shapefiles are not required anymore, but if those are not added, then zones will not be displayed in the map (through the polygons) but the user can still see all the graphs.
Zones Shapefile Upload
As mentioned above the zone shapefile is not required anymore and the option to upload the shapefile is only available after zones are created under Admin >> Zones. The shapefile upload will only serve to create the zones geometry (to have those displayed in the map) and to associate customer meters to zones (used for the revenue water calculations, and just in case the user did not associate any zone to customer meters - only coordinates).
Note that the zones creation occurs by uploading the configuration template or by manually adding zones in Admin >> Zones. If no zones are created, the zones shapefile button will appear greyed out and no shapefile can be added.
To upload the zones shapefile the user should go to administration >> GIS. More information here about the requirements - Uploading GIS data. Make sure that a column Name exists in the zone shapefile with the same name as the zone created/listed in WaterSight. If a zone is created but if it does not exist in the uploaded zone shapefile with the same name, it will not be displayed in the map but will be listed as greyed out in the side panel - Figure 2.

Recompute Zones Monthly Water Balances only for selected zones
Instead of requiring to recompute all the zones balances if one of the zones changed (which could take a long time for systems with many zones), it is now possible to select the specific zones to recompute the monthly water balances for. This is done by selecting the zones from the table and then by pressing the (...) button above the table and then clicking on recompute.
Sensor Clustering
Sensors displayed in the map are now clustered together (by proximity) depending on the user zoom. As the user zooms in or zooms out, the automatic clustering will change.
For each cluster group the user can click and check each individual sensor:
Note than in the case two or more sensors share exact the same coordinate system, they will always be clustered together regardless the zooming.
Additional Filtering Options for Alert Triggers
Additional filters are now available when trying to assign sensors, zones or large customers to alert triggers. Under Admin >> Alerts there is a new filter option below the "Signals, Zones & Large Customer Meters" section to allow users to filter sensors by measurement or tag or even to select all. These additional filter options can significantly accelerate the work of assigning sensors or zones to triggers, specifically when dealing with a large amount of sensors and zones.
Multi-Select in the Administration for Pumps and Tanks
Multi-select option is now available for pumps and tanks, under Admin >> Hydraulic Structures.
Water Balance export for all zones
It is now possible to export to CSV all the water balance components for all zones. To do this go to Indicators >> Water Balance. On the top right select the Water Balance Bar chart. From that page click on the "Export as Csv" option and all the water balance components will be exported for all zones.
Graphs: Time-range Settings Improvement
As of July 2026, the user can automatically navigate into all time-series history (last 5 years), by just selecting the desired data period in the calendar or by moving the time-range slider below to the left in order to load more historical data (by default last 3 months of data are automatically loaded).
Geolocation of Leaks - Include PRV pressures
Pressure sensors assigned to pressure reduction valves are now included for the Geolocation of Leaks calculations.
Map and Operational Response Performance Improvements
Several performance improvements in the map and operational response simulation pages (pipe break, fire event, valve operations, pump shutdown) were made, namely around the display and interaction with huge amount of elements (such as sensors, zones and model control valves)
