Overview
CONNECTION Client version 26.00.00.12 introduces a redesigned user interface along with in‑product notifications related to licensing, authentication, and Bentley services.
This article describes how to manage and disable notifications within the CONNECTION Client user settings.

Purpose
Users may choose to disable notifications to reduce interruptions or when informational messages are no longer required. Notification preferences can be configured directly in CONNECTION Client.
Procedure: Disable Notifications:
- Open CONNECTION Client and sign in using your Bentley credentials.
- From the left-hand side of the application, click the Notifications (bell) icon.

- Click the Settings icon within the Notifications panel (as shown below):

- Toggle Off the option "Show Desktop Notifications":

- Close Settings
- Notification settings are saved automatically.
- Close the Settings window to return to the main CONNECTION Client interface.
Additional Information
- Notification preferences are applied per user account.
- Certain notifications related to:
- Licensing entitlement status
- Authentication or sign‑in issues
- Critical service availability
may continue to display and cannot be fully disabled.
- After upgrading CONNECTION Client or performing a reinstall, notification settings may revert to default values.
Troubleshooting:
Notifications continue to appear after being disabled
- Sign out and sign back in to CONNECTION Client
- Restart the CONNECTION Client application
- Confirm the installed version is 26.00.00.12
- Verify whether the message is a critical licensing or authentication notification, which cannot be suppressed
