With the new introduction of the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud offerings on Dec 1st, 2025, the previous Projectwise offerings will be retired from use in the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud portal.
It was common for Organization Administrators to use the Access Controls capabilities available in Entitlement Management to assign specific Projectwise tiers to users. To maintain the same level of access intended with these Access Control configurations, existing configurations need to be updated to align with the new offerings.
There should be no action required for Organization Administrators during this transition. During the week preceding the switch to the new offerings, organizations that have Access Control configurations for the previous Projectwise offerings will see their configurations updated to include the new offerings. Updates will be done for configurations at the product-level, the group-level and the user-level access controls.
After the new offerings have been enabled in the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud portal, the previous Projectwise offerings will be removed.
If your organization has separate Entitlement groups for ProjectWise Validate and ProjectWise Engineer, both groups will now include the Bentley Infrastructure Cloud ProjectWise entitlement. Organization Administrators may choose to combine these groups for easier management, but this is optional but recommended.
