A new release has been published in September 2025, bringing the following additional functionalities:
Timely notification of potential burst and leak events, along with the ability to promptly locate and address them, is a fundamental component in minimizing real water losses.
WaterSight can monitor in near real time each zone flow and pressures and automatically alert for any potential leak or burst in the system. Once an event is generated or manually created by the user, the platform can now effectively narrow down the search area by pint-pointing in a map the most likely hotspots (at red), as shown in figure below.
Figure 1 - Map with the most likely (at red) and unlikely (blue) spots of potential leakage.
Detailed information about workflow and requirements can be found here - Geolocation of Leaks.
It is now possible to hide specific page/entries (menus and submenus) for any specific user (in addition to the per role basis).
To hide a specific page or entry for specifics user, go to Admin >> Settings >> Topic visibility and just make sure not to include those users in the list of users that have access to the specific section, see example below:
Figure 2 - General KPI (Network Monitoring) section is only visible to the user Miguel Soares (and hidden for all other users).
More information can be seen in the Topic Visibility help section, in the Settings help page.
It is now possible to edit multiple sensors at the same time, from the Admin >> Sensors table. Just make sure to select the several sensors you want to edit (by enabling the left box) and then just edit those using the right side panel.
