    • User Interface
      • The deflection criteria for column can now be set for individual load cases and for lateral loads besides wind loads.
      •
  • Defects

NOTE: Problems described below represent specific issues with specific test cases. It is difficult to succinctly describe a problem and how it impacted the specific test case. If you have any questions about the issues discussed in this report, please contact technical support.

      • #1714362: Materials Nickel Alloy ASME N10276 - Thermal Expansion coefficient issue (incorrect group).
      • #1678722: EN13445 nozzles reinforcement calculations - the welds area Afw is calculated for rectangles, not triangles.
      • #1716564: Vertical Vessel - Equivalent Beam Analysis issues (Guided Support & Bending Moment at Beams Junction).
      • #1744418: ASME VIII Division 2 - Fatigue Analysis - Opening : too conservative stresses when the nozzle flange is close to the opening.
      • #1750637: ASME VIII U-tube tubesheet simply supported - Step 4 not applied correctly.
      • #1661377: Transition head on Jacketed Vessel causes calculation to crash.
      • #1690040: EN 13445-3 G.8.4 - Tightening torque for flange bolts should be determined using the nominal force rather than the maximum force.
      • #1703721: EN 13445 16.12.4 Design of skirts - Calculation crashes when the design temperature is not within the range of the material.
      • #1710392: Flange design - EN 13445 Annex G/EN 1591 - Infinite loop, no results.
      • #1727389: User-defined flange hole diameter not considered in calculation.
      • #1687309: ASME Figure UG-34 Minimum Radius does not flag an error.
      • #1062085: Nozzle calculation : participating length of the nozzle zero is ignored.
      • #1766091: AD2000 - Fatigue Analysis - calculation crashes when there is no pressure variation.
      • #1756292: Saddles Analysis - Material not considered or based on too low thickness.
      • #1168750: Report - Equation for longitudinal stresses is incorrect, it does not include E which is considered (Horizontal Vessel).
      • #1626002: Report - Welded lip flange joints - external diameter printed value issue (CODAP).
      • #1709290: Report - CODAP C2.3.4 - conical shell under internal pressure - incorrect inside diameter.

      • #1664949: GUI - Jacketed Vessel - The nozzle location on the inner head is unexpectedly changed.
      • #1683600: GUI - the list of nominal diameters DN (EN/ISO) is not correctly generated in the drop-down lists.
      • #1692671: GUI - The 2D view redraws too often, causing annoying flickering with large models.
      • #1669204: 2D Drawings - Generation of Bracket development - width issue.
      • #1748267: 2D Drawings - Ladders Weight is always considered in 2D drawings.

How to Activate AutoPIPE Vessel ®

Subscription Entitlement Service is Bentley's new licensing model, providing enhanced security and optimized value for your Bentley Subscriptions. It is integrated with Bentley's Identity Management System (IMS) and the Bentley CONNECT technology platform to allow near real-time reporting of usage, improved alert messaging to users and increased administrative capabilities to license administrators in your organization. It will not only give you more options to monitor and manage usage but also provide new, advanced licensing features that will enhance digital workflows.

Activation

With Subscription Entitlement Service, all users must be registered with Bentley's Identity Management System (IMS) and sign in to the CONNECTION Client to access Bentley applications. Product activation will now occur through user sign-in to the CONNECTION Client with a valid IMS ID associated with their account. User sign-in will replace traditional activation keys, offering enhanced security as administrators will be able to control which users have access to Bentley software. License entitlements are granted and maintained through Subscription Entitlement Service's Entitlement Management Service. By signing into the CONNECTION Client users can also find their organization's projects, download software updates, receive relevant notifications, and track their usage.

Alerts

Subscription Entitlement Service features the new license alerts notifications that can be set by an organization's license administrators to let the users know when they reach a set usage threshold. These notifications will alert the users that if they continue to use the product, a term license may be issued. The user in such a situation has the choice to quit the application before a license is used or acknowledge that a term license may be generated and proceed with starting the application, based on what settings the administrator chooses.
