Rebuild Model
If there is an error while reuploading a GIS shapefile or an hydraulic model, first take a look if the upload requirements are fulfilled for both shapefiles and hydraulic model. After checking that all configurations are fine, and if the error still persists, follow below steps:
- Go to Admin >> Numerical Models >> click on the model row entry >> click in the “rebuild” button located in the top left of the table

- Wait until the rebuild process finishes
- Reupload again the previously failed shapefile or hydraulic model
- It should now reupload with success.
The "Rebuild model" button triggers an action which will clean some past upload processes (related with shapefiles and hydraulic models), without any risk of loosing information.. This workflow might be required in very specific cases, due to some conflicts between specific coordinate systems.
Forbidden Error
If you are getting a Forbidden Error after clicking in the i-model rebuild button, please check the following:
- Check that your user has the OpenFlows Admin role.
- If you already have a OpenFlows Admin role and you still get the same error, access the User Management portal, select your user and click Manage roles. Please add the Manage iModels role, as shown below.
- In case you don't have permissions to do that, please ask to one of the Owners of the digital twin to grant you that role (you can also see who are the owners in the User Management portal).

Error: "Points must form a closed linestring"
When uploading a GIS shapefile such as Zones, it may fail and the above red error is seen in the notifications. This can happen if there are problems with he shapefile geometry. To fix this, examine the shapefile in an external application such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS:
- ArcGIS Pro: try the toolbox "Dissolve" without selecting any specific field to dissolve by, or try "Repair Geometry"
- QGIS: add the shapefile as a layer, right click the layer and choose Export > Save feature as. Select Esri Shapefile as the type, choose a new file name, then check the box for "force multi-type".
