Problem:

The following appeared when using AutoPIPE:

E90-36: Unable to export. The current pipelink file version is not supported. 

Why and how to avoid?

Solution:

As the message states, the current pipelink file version is not supported.

Possible workarounds

    1. Known issues, Export to STAAD fails if model name exceeds 43 characters (1720474), to be fixed in AutoPIPE 25 update 1.
    2. Uninstalled and than reinstalled Windows 7

If you have reached this point, lease log a new technical support case, provide the following items and answers:

    1. AutoPIPE APC file
    2. Screen recording or written steps showing how this Error message came to be displayed.
    3. What version of AutoPIPE are your using?
    4. What application and version are your trying to export the file too?
    5. Do you have more than 1 version of AutoPIPE installed?
      1. If yes, specify which versions
      2. Reboot computer, reset Profile Preferences (Tools > Tools > Settings > Preferences), open model, and try to export the file again.
    6.  Use WinDBG application to generate a log fille (*.TXT) and send for review.
    7.  Review Event Viewer log to see if a new posting was added within the last 5 minutes of the Error message above. If yes, use instruction here (step #2) to save Event Viewer log file (.evtx) and upload to the case. Note this .evtx file may need to added to a ZIP file before uploading.
    8.  Lastly, see KB article here, step #3, and upload the last AutoPIPE log file for review.
