If a sensor is mapped to a model element in the WaterGEMS model and is being used as boundary condition and starts to transmit bad data, this data can pass to the hydraulic model and affect the accuracy of the model or even lead the hydraulic model runs to fail. The solution in that case is to temporarily unmap this sensor from the model element. This can be done through the WaterSight application by going to Administration >> sensors, and mark that sensor as offline. Once marked as offline, that sensor will have no more data, and after few hours the new hydraulic model runs will not use the measurements from that specific sensor to override model results.
Once the sensor has good data again, don't forget to return to the administration and remove the offline status, so it can start again to be used by the hydraulic model.
More information about mapping sensors and model elements and boundary conditions can be found here - Preparing WaterGEMS model for real time simulation in WaterSight.
