The PSI calculation considers the shear force and bending moment at the pile tip. The torque distributed along the pile body, and the torsional freedom mass are considered in the modal calculation (the torsion of the single pile structure is obvious).
In the PSI input (psiinp.) column 61 of the SOIL TORSION HEAD considers the torque distributed along the pile body:
The modal analysis, in the dyninp. at DYNOP2 line columns 74-76 are set to consider the torsional degree of freedom mass, and the sixth degree of freedom of the node in the model is set to ‘2’.
SEASTATE calculation is corrected by the CM coefficient to take into account the wave diffraction effect. The wave load calculation of a large diameter single pile structure in shallow water cannot be simply considered directly using the Morison equation.
In the seastate input (seainp.) CDM line column 62:
WAVE RESPONSE calculations take into account the second-order effects of waves. This is set in the wave response input file (wvrinp.) column 75 of the WAVTIM line and is limited to time domain analysis. The use of the diffraction setting in WAVTIM requires that the diffraction setting in CDM be considered as well.
