Question:
I would like to know if the Post-processor in SACS performs unity checks on Collapse analysis. If so, how can I execute the run?
Answer:
SACS doesn't support graphical post-processing on Collapse CSF because of the member sub-segmenting. It can only report code check results into a listing file.
During a collapse analysis, each member is divided into multiple sub-segments, and Collapse CSF treats each subsegment as a separate member during code check-in Post. As a result, the SACS model file is incompatible with Collapse CSF.
Also, make sure to select all the options you need for the post-processing (including deflection, UC, and stress reports) in the post input file. Otherwise, you won't see the tables in the listing files. The Execute option on the PSTOPT line in the post input file should also be set to YES so that the Post module performs a code check.
