Joint UC 200

Q:

Even if I have components for axial, IPB and OPB and when I combine the UC should be a logical figure. But SACS is returning an UC ratio of 200. What does that signify?

R.

If you manually combine the uc components, SACS result will not match here. The “200” is an indication of some other issue. Your joint might be ok but the elements attached with the joint might be having some problem.

There is no generic commentary on this.

User needs to check the joint can listing file and at the top, the commentary for the particular case will be mentioned.

Say for example, in a listing file, you might get the following information.

A black text on a white backgroundAI-generated content may be incorrect.

Here, SACS wants you to check the chord stress. Your joint might be ok, but the actual chord stress is large.

So, anytime, you face the “200” UC in joint can, go to the listing file and see what it indicates.
