SACS PISA Curves

Question:

My soil charts (specifically M-T curves) show different values (very small) than what has been input in the input file (pilinp.monopile).

Answer:

To use the PISA method, the option 'Y' - Use M-Theta curves for distributed moment calculation along the pile length, in column 67 of the SOIL LATERAL HEAD line has to be selected.

User needs to review the M-Theta input and update it with the correct input. Note that the user can use scientific notation to model small values instead of rounding them.

Also, a decimal point has to be included in exponential notation. For example, 26e-6 must be entered as '26.e-6', only then will it be correctly read by the pile program.
