Problem:

Macros created in previous versions may need to be updated to run properly in the OpenRoads/OpenSite/OpenRail 2024 release.

For example, some users may possibly see a crash/exception occur when they use the right-click > View Control options in the 2024 release if their workspace is still loading a ViewSet.mvba file that was customized in a previous version.

Solution:

1.) If the ViewSet.mvba in your workspace has not been customized, then simply replace the ViewSet.mvba file with the one delivered with OpenRoads 2024 (C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRoads Designer 2024.00\Configuration\Organization-Civil\_Civil Default Standards - Imperial\Macros\ViewSet.mvba).

2.) If the ViewSet.mvba in your workspace has been customized, then follow the steps demonstrated in this video to update the macro as necessary to run in 2024.
