Overview
This functionality will help all in Uninstalling the MX Software from the Machines.
Steps Uninstalling Bentley MX from the Machine:
- Uninstall Bentley MX V8i 08.11.xx.xx from Add/Remove Programs

Uninstall Bentley MX V8 XM Edition from Add/Remove Programs

Uninstall Bentley MX CAD Engine from Add/Remove Programs

Delete any remaining files/folders and registry entries as outlined below:
Check these areas after uninstall of MX XM and MX Cad engine from Add/Remove programs when no other Bentley applications are installed. Most will already be deleted but some are left behind by design:
C:\Program Files\Bentley\MX or similar
C:\Program Files\Bentley\MX CAD Engine or similar
C:\Windows\Moss folder
C:\Windows\moss* files
C:\Windows\mfm* files
C:\Windows\mfa* files
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bentley Shared
C:\Program Files\Bentley\Program\Licensing
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bentley
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Bentley
C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Local Settings\Application Data\Bentley
In the registry:
HKLM\Software\Infrasoft
HKLM\Software\Bentley (Ensure you retain any licence activation details from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bentley\Licensing\1.1 if required).
HKLM\Sofware\Bentley Systems, Incorporated
HKCU\Software\Infrasoft
HKCU\Software\Bentley
HKCU\Sosftware\MOSS for Windows
If these exist they can all be deleted before installing MX V8i.
- Install latest Bentley MX V8i (08.11.xx.xx)
