Question:

Can you create a report on the cogo point locations and utilize the surface elevations as the Z in the report?

Answer:

In order to create a report for cogo points you must use the Tools > XML Reports > Clearance and use the baseline alignment as the source while including all cogo points.  However, this report will only report on the XYZ which is assigned to the cogo points, so you must assign the elevations of the surface to the cogo.

To assign elevations to cogo points from a surface, go to Geometry > Utilities > Assign Elevations, set the 'include' option to Points, enter the names or the wildcard (*) for all points, set the source to 'From Surface', change the Surface to the desired surface you wish to report on so it will assign the correct elevations and Apply to perform the operation.

Once the elevations are assigned, go to Tools > XML Reports > Clearance and run the report.  Once you have the report, select the desired stylesheet and you should have the information.  Reports should include Station, Offset, Elevation, Northing, Easting of the point and will also include centerline point data as well.
