How to fix error 2753

When I go to uninstall the software, I get error 2753, The file is not marked for installation. How can I fix this error, so that I can uninstall the software?


This error is typically due to trying to uninstall a software that has been partially installed. Users in the past have resolved this error by doing the following:

  1. Repair the .Net Framework:
  2. Run ccleaner to clean the registry
  3. Run this tool to uninstall the software:
  4. Before reinstalling the software, make sure the User Account Control (UAC) is turned all the way down.
