Introduction:  The instructions and video below show how to place route markers in OpenRoads SignCAD.

The Route Markers group in OpenRoads SignCAD includes the following types of route markers:

Interstate - The Interstate route marker drop-down contains two options: Interstate and State Name.

Business - The Business route marker drop-down contains four options: Business Loop, Business Spur, US Business, and US Business Route Ind.

State Highway - The State Highway icon allows the selection of all the state highway route markers, regardless of which standard you are in.

US Route - The US route marker drop-down contains four options: US Route, US Route Ind, US Historic, and US Historic Ind.

County - The County route marker drop-down contains three options: Pentagonal County, Square County, and Township.

National Forest - The National Forest icon allows selection of the National Forest route marker.

Hazardous - The Hazardous drop-down contains two options: Hazardous Material and No Hazardous Material.

Indian - The Indian icon allows selection of the Indian route marker.

Canada - The Canada route marker drop-down contains three options: Trans-Canada, Provincial, and Yellow Head.
