Please follow the steps below to resolve connection issues when using SYNCHRO 4D Pro and working on a 4D cloud collaboration project on SYNCHRO Control.
Check Permissions on Control Project if a User Role has the ability to connect to SYNCHRO 4D Pro:
Note: Admins have the ability to check if a Role has the correct Permissions for this functionality
5. Select one of the Roles
6. Expand the access section. Ensure that 4D box is checked
7. Click the Save Button at the bottom of the Page
Check that the SynchroHubToken registry entry exists.
Click on Allow - Once this is completed successfully it should create a SynchroHubToken registry entry on your machine.
Close 4D Pro (if it is open) and close the browser where you have Control open.
Type regedit in Windows search bar and hit enter
· In the registry editor, navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Synchro\Synchro\ProjectConfig
You should see SynchroHubToken located here.
If the registry entry is missing it is likely that something is blocking the creation.
Deleting the SynchroHubToken
In some cases, it is possible that the SynchroHubToken is having issues.
Type regedit in Windows search bar and hit enter
· In the registry editor, navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Synchro\Synchro\ProjectConfig
· Look for SynchroHubToken in the right panel and delete it
· Now open 4d Pro and select File - Open -> Control Project
· You should then be able to see your project in 4D Pro
Ensuring your machine clock is in Sync with the World Clock
Make sure the date and time on your computer are synched, once complete try opening the Control project again.

Rename Synchrohub folder
Please try the following on your computer:
Change this folder name: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\synchrohub <-- change to oldsynchrohub
