Here is described which files format is possible to open directly or not directly in LumenRT and in which way
Steps to Accomplish
Option 1
- If you have a *.dgn file, you can open it by all based Microstation software (e.g. Descartes, InRoads, AECOsim...)
-
Then you have to set a camera view and click to LumenRT Export option (2 options are available and they work in the same way):
-
The LumenRT software opens proptly after the export
Option 2
- If you have a *.lrt file, this is the property file format for LumenRT, you can open LumenRT using the following ways:
- right click and choose: open with LumenRT
- drag and drop the *.lrt file on LumenRT icon on your desktop
Option 3
- If you have a *.bak file, the backup file associated with livecubes once exported, you can access LumenRT in the following way:
- Rename the *.bak file so that the file has the same name, but change the extension to *.lrt. Example: 'Lumen_Test.bak' becomes 'Lumen_Test.lrt'.
- This makes it possible to create a livecube from a backup of the original exported livecube, in the case of corruption. Open the newly named LiveCube following the instructions in Option 2.
