Problem:

Since the specific heat, thermal conductivity, density, film coefficient are temperature dependent when Auto PIPE calculated the gradient does it uses these values at room temperature?

Answer:

The inner film coefficient h is calculated at each instant using the properties of fluid (water or heavy water) at bulk fluid temperatures which are calculated internally. The pipe specific heat and thermal conductivity values are those which are supplied by the user for each pipe.
