Invalid Cogo Description

Explanation

User is receiving error message when attempting to Create/Edit Alignment by Cogo Points:  "Invalid Cogo Description".

How to Avoid

There is a setting in the variable manager that will allow alphanumeric names in Create/Edit Alignment by Cogo Points.

To access the variable manager, you will first need to make sure that it is enabled.  Go to Tools > Application Add-Ins and toggle on “Variable Manager Add In”.

Then go to Tools > Variable Manager and toggle on “Geometry – Alphanumeric Names in Create/Edit Alignment by Cogo Points”.
