Problem

During Database Setup of Digital Archive InterPlot the following error message appears

 

Attempt to connect to datasource failed

 

Solution

To create the System DSN on Windows Server 2008 64-bit, you must run ODBC in 32-bit mode by invoking c:\windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe.
