Problem:

The sign panel and border do not show in the SignCAM Cut Selected window in OpenRoads SignCAD.

Solution:

1) From the Preferences menu in OpenRoads SignCAD, pick "Allow Panel Selection". "Allow Panel Selection" will now have a checkmark showing that it is selected. The shortcut is to hold the <ctrl> key while selecting the sign panel.

2) Use the Select tool to select the sign panel. You can select the sign panel edge or window select the entire sign. Pick SignCAM>Cut Selected.

• Sign panels created with the Standard Sign panel tool will show a white selection box in the middle of the sign. In the example below, only the sign panel edge was selected.

  

• Sign panels created with the Rectangular panel tool will show white selection boxes on the four corners of the sign. In the example below, the entire sign was window selected so the text, arrow and panel show the selection boxes.

   

4) The entire sign panel will now display In the SignCAM Cut Selected window.
