Problem:

Model is imported with large pipe dia:

Solution:

Open the PXF file in any text editor program (i.e. Notepad).

When importing a PXF model the file could have been generated using one of the following:

1 or English

2 or MMETRIC

3 or METRIC

IF this setting is incorrect the entire model will not be sized correctly, as shown above. Open the PXF file in any text editor ( Ultra Edit, NotePad++, MS Word, etc..). Note, the value on line 1001, ex. MMETRIC. Since this model has already been imported, one can deduced that 2 or MMETRIC was not the correct value. Therefore try one of the other 2 settings.

1 or English

3 or METRIC

Note: This may be an iterative approach.

Change the UNIT setting for 1001 value from "MMETRIC" to "English" or "1" (see image below)

Save the file and import it into AutoPIPE.

If above does not work, than open PXF file again and change the 1001 value to the last available option. The model should now import with out issue.
